Every gender can have health problems that are unique. Some preventative measures can be taken to avoid this, and the sooner they are taken, the better.

Eat a healthy balanced diet. This includes as much fresh organic fruits and vegetables as possible in a day. Eat only whole grains. Try to eat organic fish twice a week or more. Reduce bad fat, salt and sugar intake. Stay away from processed prepackaged foods as these are laden with hidden chemicals, sugar, fat and salt.

Exercise on a regular basis. Adding in a brisk 20 minute walk, 3 times a week, into your routine will do wonders for your health.

Keep stress to a minimum, and if that is impossible, find a way to handle it. Journal writing, talking to a friend or professional, deep breathing exercises and finding a hobby are some ways to do this.

Get enough sleep. For most people this is 8 uninterrupted hours.

Add a good quality multi vitamin to your diet that is taken on a daily basis, along with essential fatty acids, as it is hard to get all of our nutrients needed for our body totally through our food.

Smile and laugh as much as possible!!
